ICC regrets the mishap at the Opening Ceremony

ICC has sent their reply for the letter which was sent regarding clarifications at the mishap at the opening ceremony. During the opening ceremony of the Champions Trophy 2013, the organizers played a Hindi song tune instead of a Sri Lankan flavored music track during the segment of the flag raising to the field.

Apart from Sri Lanka, rest of the 7 countries were honored with their own cultural music at the prestige moment.

The International Cricket Council Tournament Director Chris Tetley has written to SLC conveying his regret about the incident.  He has further stated that the ICC will take up the matter for a discussion with the Event Managers of the event who was entrusted to carry the opening ceremony of ICC Champions Trophy 2013 without any problems.
